WhatIWore: The weather in Southern Indiana has been beautiful this week, and we’ve been spending a lot of time outside to enjoy it. Lately that means starting the day walking Adam to work. It’s a fun routine and forces me and Felix to get ready for the day instead of lounging around in jammies until noon the whole day like we did during the winter.  I’m still loving this skirt and playing around with different ways to wear it. I’ll probably do a white tank top and hat the next time around, but I’d love some of your ideas on what could work too. Help me out on facebook!

What I Wore | Me, Myself & I

WhatIWore: You know when you wear something that feels so totally and completely you? That’s a striped tee and circle skirt for me. Documenting daily style on this blog pushes me to be a little more creative, but let’s be honest, my favorites are showing up a lot more frequently on here and I’m absolutely ok with that!

What I Wore | Off to the Races

WhatIWore: Who saw the Kentucky Derby on Saturday? Unfortunately, not me. I had every intention of watching the race, but the day just got busy, as Saturdays often do, and it came and went. I did, however, use a little race day inspiration a la Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman for getting ready. I love this vintage polka dot dress but it’s been over a year since I’ve worn it. I like to pair it with a light slip/petticoat to give it a little more fullness too!

We started our day with breakfast as a family (Village Deli) and then dropped off papa at work. From there we walked to the farmer’s market and a handmade market downtown. We ended up on the patio of Cardinal Spirits and mama had a light cocktail while Felix took a nap in his stroller.

What I Wore | Playground Tee

WhatIWore: Quick post today… I’m chasing after an increasingly speedy crawler! I bought this tee the other day on clearance and is part of a little stash of what I’m calling ‘Playground Tees’. They’re just basic shirts I can throw on with jeans or shorts and still feel pulled together. Plus I got ‘em on clearance (3 for $18!!)
